During the Past & Future or Play & Civic Media mini-symposium on 11 October, professor Ben Schouten festively transferred the leadership of the Play & Civic Media research group to Martijn de Waal. Ben Schouten will remain affiliated with the HvA as the scientific director of the Master of Digital Design and will continue to determine the course of the Design Center Amsterdam. In his new position Martijn de Waal continue research in the field of play, design & civic media.
